letstraveltolondon asked: Hi, I was reading through your gelatin pore strip instructions and do you sleep with it on and take it off in the morning? Or what? Thanks!!

You just apply it, let it dry, then remove :)

Recipe 1- What You Need:

3 T Coconut Oil
3 T Baking Soda
2 T Shea Butter
2 T Arrowroot (optional)
Essential Oils (optional)

Melt shea butter and coconut oil in a double boiler over medium heat until barely melted. UPDATE: Combine in a quart size glass mason jar with a lid instead and place this in a small saucepan of water until melted. This will save your bowl and you can just designate this jar for these type of projects and not even need to wash it out…
Remove from heat and add baking soda and arrowroot (If you don’t have arrowroot, use more baking soda)
Mix well
Add essential oils and pour into a glass container for storage. It does not need to be stored in the fridge.
If you prefer, you can let it cool completely and put into an old deodorant stick for easier use, though it may melt in the summer!

How to salvage a shattered compact!

Replacing a broken powder, bronzer, or shadow isn’t your only option. Instead, add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the broken bits, then stir to create a paste like texture. Re-form it with the back of a spoon and let it dry over night. It’ll look and function like a fresh palette by morning!

Some easy tips to smell good all night long c;

1. Dab Vaseline into the fronts of your ankles and the backs of your knees, then spritz with perfume. Scent rises, so it’s key to affix it to these low pulse points.

2. Spray one of your inner wrists and press (don’t rub) it against the other one for five seconds.

3. Mist your cleavage and the area of your bra where the cups connect. The heated heart zone is great at propelling scent molecules.

4. Apply perfume to a dollop of hair smoothing scream, and apply it to the bottom two inches of your hair, the most porous and absorbent part.

Pore minimizer. Half lemon and 3-4 drops of honey. Rub the lemon on your face, emphasize the black heads prone areas like nose, chin etc. Leave the lemon and honey mixture on your face for 5 minutes, then wash it with cold water. You will see the results immediately. Additionally, lemon juice will also fade other marks/spots on the face and honey will moisturize!

Easy to make Pore Strips!

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons of milk

Measure 1 Tablespoon of unflavored gelatin into a disposable container {if you put say, green jell-o on your face, there might be trouble}
Add 1-2 Tablespoons of milk into the gelatin
Until it looks like this
Mix it up, and be quick about it, until you get a chunky consistency.  Add more milk if you’re uncomfortable with the amount of chunk.
Microwave the gelatin for about 10-15 seconds.  It will get creamier in the microwave.  Stir that around and start applying it IMMEDIATELY to your face.  This stuff hardens up fast so you’ve got to act fast.
Just make sure you aren’t going to burn yourself so check it quickly before applying.
